Ninh Thuan: Ninh Phuoc District Farmers’ Union won the first prize in “Farmers’ Competition”
(VNFU Website) – To celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the successful August Revolution (19/8/1945-19/8/2018), the National Day of Socialist Republic of Vietnam and welcome the Seventh National Congress of Vietnam Farmers’ Union (VNFU) (term 2018-2023), from August 9-10, at the Training and Supporting Center for Farmers, Ninh Thuan Provincial Farmers’ Union (FU) organized the Farmers’ Competition 2018.
The competition consisted of 07 teams with 70 candidates from various city, district FUs in the province with both theory and practice part. The practice part included: practising on “Technique for installation of economical irrigation system”, playing folk game “Catch the fish”; the theory part including: greeting, getting ready, multiple-choice and predicting the agricultural production process.
The final results: Ninh Phuoc district FU won the first price, Ninh Hai district FU won the second prize, Ninh Son district FU won the third prize and the consolation prize belonged to FUs from Phan Rang-Thap Cham city, Bac Ai, Thuan Bac and Thuan Nam district.
