Vice Chairwoman of VNFU Bui Thi Thom is impressed with the economic model in Ky Anh town of Ha Tinh

On October 8, the delegation of VNFU led by Ms. Bui Thi Thom - Vice Chairwoman of VNFU visited collective economic models and safe agricultural product stores in Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province. 

In Hung Tri ward, Ky Anh town (Ha Tinh province), the delegation visited the household of Ms. Le Thi Cam Van (in group 2, Hung Tri ward) - the owner of a production establishment, breeding and processing of Hung Ha Van cordyceps..

Each year, Hung Ha Van cordyceps factory produces from 16,000-18,000 boxes of fresh cordyceps and 3,000-5,000 boxes of dried cordyceps.

In 2021, freeze-dried cordyceps and Hung Ha Van cordyceps wine are recognized with 3-star OCOP standards. In February 2022, the freeze-dried cordyceps product was recognized as the 4-star OCOP product.

After visiting the cordyceps production facility of Ms. Le Thi Cam Van's household, Ms. Bui Thi Thom - Vice Chairwomen of VNFU assessed that this is a facility that ensures the hygiene and food safety.

Mrs. Van's household has applied science and technology well, mastered the seed production process, and grown commercial cordyceps mushrooms to develop the household economy.

Next, the delegation visited Nhat Ninh fish sauce production facility (Ky Ninh commune, Ky Anh town). After participating in the OCOP program and being recognized as a 4-star product, Nhat Ninh fish sauce products are widely consumed in the market. The annual consumption of fish sauce is more than 15,000 liters, an increase of more than 50% compared to the volume before having OCOP certificate.

Here, Ms. Bui Thi Thom - Vice Chairwoman of VNFU commented that this model has been strictly implemented in terms of food safety and hygiene, bringing high efficiency in product quality and having high economic efficiency.  

Ms. Bui Thi Thom hopes that Nhat Ninh fish sauce production facility will increasingly supply the quality products to consumers and expand its scale.

Also during the business trip, the delegation visited the introducing and selling OCOP products store in Hung Tri ward, Ky Anh town.

Ms. Bui Thi Thom - Vice Chairwoman of VNFU affirmed that the development of agriculture and rural areas in Ha Tinh over the past time has had a very positive impact in promoting the comprehensive development of economic, cultural and social sectors. As a result, it confirmed the important role of FUs at all levels in launching and organizing patriotic emulation movements among farmers' officials and members from the province to the grassroot levels.
