On December 22, Thua Thien Hue provincial FU said that  VNFU had handovered the Composite waste containers and biological products to members and farmers in the province.
 
 
This is an activity within the framework of the project to support the "FUs to collect, sort and process organic waste into fertilizer at households and residential clusters, contributing to environmental protection and building new rural areas".

 
Accordingly, 100 containers of waste and biological products were given to members and farmers in  Phu Loc town, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province. In which, 50 garbage containers are located at 50 households participating in the model processing organic waste into fertilizer, the remaining 50 garbage containers are located at suitable locations on residential roads in residential areas in Phu Loc town to collect community waste and transport to the town's centralized landfill.

 
The total cost of the project implementation is 340 million VND, of which VNFU supports 150 million VND, the local and people contribute 150.4 million VND.

 
Previously, the Thua Thien Hue provincial FU organized a training course on collecting, sorting and treating organic waste into fertilizer for its members and farmers.

 
The project aims to raise people's awareness about the benefits of sorting and treating organic waste into fertilizer for plants, thereby helping people change their behavior, live environmentally friendly, promote production development and improve the quality of life.

 
The project also aims to build a point model of collection, classification and treatment of organic waste into microbial fertilizers for agricultural production and to replicate the model in Thua Thien Hue province, contributing to the conservation of organic waste. environmental protection associated with new rural construction.

 
Speaking at the program of giving garbage containers and biological products to members and farmers, Mr. Dinh Khac Dinh - Vice Chairman of VNFU directed the Phu Loc District FU and the Phu Loc Town FU to focus on promoting propaganda and building model points for other localities to learn, considering this an important solution in environmental protection.
