Vietnam-Israel: Join hand to bring irrigation technology to farmers

(VNFU Website) – On September 18th, Member of Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of VNFU, Lai Xuan Mon had had a working session with Ofri Peled, Chief Customer Officer of Israel NaanDan Jain Irrigation Ltd (NDJ) in Asia. Participating in the meeting, there were also representatives of related departments and units.

 
At the meeting, Chairman Lai Xuan Mon shared: After the exchange trip in Israel, VNFU had had a meeting with NaanDan Jain Irrigation Ltd. Both parties had come to an agreement to cooperate on 4 matters including developing small irrigation for production models; building growth center, open showcase and hi-tech farming center; enhancing farmers’ capacity through training courses; developing agriculture.
 

Ofri Peled, Chief Customer Officer of NaanDan Jain Irrigation Ltd in Asia, wished that VNFU would be the key channel through which the company could share with Vietnamese farmers their agricultural technology and experience of the last 80 years. And he also emphasized that he hoped their experience could help Vietnamese farmers develop agriculture in the future.
 

Chairman Lai Xuan Mon joyfully sent his best wishes to Jewish people on their traditional Jewish holiday. And VNFU hoped to be able to closely cooperate with NDJ to help the agriculture of Vietnam develop. First, two parties will join hand to experimentally apply modern irrigation technology to raise farmers’ productivity and then expand this model in the future.
