Attending and chairing the Anniversary was Mr. Thao Xuan Sung - Member of the Party’s Central Executive Committee - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Farmers’ Union; the other attendants included First Vice Chairman Luong Quoc Doan; Vice Chairmen Pham Tien Nam, Dinh Khac Dinh, Nguyen Xuan Dinh and Vice Chairwomen Bui Thi Thom together with all party members, civil servants, officials and employees of Vietnam Farmers’ Union (VNFU).
At the Conference, the delegates were informed by Mr. Nguyen Hong Son – Director of Training and Communication Department about some key contents in the propaganda outline of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Then, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Director of the Party Building Institute - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics presented the Party building topic.
The VNFU’s Conference on the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam was an important event with an aim to review the glorious history of the Party and the nation; educate and promote patriotic traditions, strengthen the great national unity; improve the pride of the 90-year tradition of glorious revolutionary struggle of our Party and people; reinforce people's faith in the leadership of the Party. At the same time it also contributed to arouse beliefs and pride of  VNFU's officials for the Party and the country's renovation; encourage and mobilize officials and party members of VNFU to actively study and innovate so as to successfully complete the Farmers’ Union tasks and the farmer movement in 2020 and the following years.

Speaking at the conference, VNFU Chairman Thao Xuan Sung affirmed: Our Party is grown from the root of the nation and deeply adhered to the hearts of people, exists and thrives for the benefit of the nation, in close attachment with the people and under the supervision of the people, always for the people and rely on the people to build the Party. Uncle Ho explained in detail: “Our Party is the Party of Leaders, which means that all cadres from central to district, province, district, and commune, to any level and branch, must be loyal servants  of the people ".

The Party building in the past 90 years and in the coming time requires continuous attention to building the revolutionary ideological, political and moral foundation. From that demand, the Party Committee of the Central Committee of Vietnam Farmers’ Union has determined the direction and task of building the Party in 2020. I hope that the Party Cells and Party Committees of the Party branch will perform well to set up excellent achievements to welcome 90th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Farmers’ Union”- Chairman Thao Xuan Sung emphasized.
