VNFU Chairman Lai Xuan Mon to have a working session with Chairman of Agerigna Group (South Korea) on bringing e-learning to the countryside

(VNFU Website) – On November 10, VNFU Chairman Lai Xuan Mon had had a meeting with Chairman of Agerigna Group, Im Byoung Min in Hanoi.

Along with officers and staff of VNFU, the session was also attended by the CEO of FamilySchool Co. (South Korea), Park Dae Woong.

Addressing at the session, Agerigna Chairman Im Byoung Min expressed his gratitude towards Chairman Lai Xuan Mon for taking time to meet CEO Park and him. Chairman Im also presented the national standard education program for children aged 3-5 introduced by Korean Government in 2012 (Nuri Program), which aims to promote holistic development of children in health, communication, relationships, art and science; and KebiKids – an educational website for kids that provides diversed mathematical, Hangeul (Korean) and English learning content developed from NuriProgram by FamilySchool.

The Chairman of Agerigna hoped that VNFU and educational bodies of Vietnam would provide NuriProgram for Vietnamese rural children via the application NongTalk so as to deliver knowledge and Korean advanced educational program for children to Vietnam at minimum expense.

Chairman Im also delivered the invitation of the Korean Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to VNFU Chairman Lai Xuan Mon to visit and work on agriculture, farmers and rural affairs in Korea. Additionally, he stated that he was looking forward to a future that Agerigna, VNFU and related agencies would join hand to organize an exhibition for Korean agricultural products, machinery and equipments in Vietnam.

In his response, VNFU Chairman Lai Xuan Mon expressed his gratitude towards Agerigna Chairman Im Byoung Min for the visit. He was very glad to know that Agerigna would support VNFU and Vietnamese children to approach Korean advanced education. If Vietnamese rural children was able to access to NuriProgram, the education gap between urban and rural children would be narrowed, helping the economy grow and strengthen the position of VNFU, said he.

Moreover, Chairman Lai Xuan Mon was grateful and happily accepted the invitation of the Korean Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. He assigned the Union’s International Cooperation Department to prepare a detailed plan for further collaboration between VNFU and Agerigna.
