VNFU – Green Bio Co., Ltd (Korea): Building a pilot model using organic fertilizers made from animal blood

(VNFU Portal)- In the morning of 4 September, in Hanoi, Dr. Thao Xuan Sung – a member of the Central Executive Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Farmers’ Union has had the meeting with Green Bio Company Limited (Korea).

At the meeting, two parties discussed and proposed the plan for cooperation in building a pilot model using organic fertilizers made from animal blood which is a by-product in the course of livestock slaughter in Vietnam.
 Mr. Kim Kyoung Ho - CEO of Green Bio Co., Ltd introduced the project of "Producing organic fertilizers from animal blood in Vietnam". The use of animal blood from livestock and poultry slaughter to produce environment-friendly organic fertilizers will contribute to the protection of water and soil resources, the improvement in crop yield and efficiency, the increase in Vietnamese farmers’ income.
Green Bio Co., Ltd (Korea) produces organic fertilizers from animal blood  by the natural fermentation process developed after over 10 years of research. The technology has been verified through research works of the Ministry of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Korea.
Also at the meering, Mr. Bang Byeong Hun – CEO of M&B International JSC shared the desired results of using organic fertilizer produced from animal blood in Korea and some other countries. Therefore, he would like to bring Korean technology to Vietnam to contribute to Vietnamese agriculture and farmers.
Chairman Xuan Sung highly appreciated Korea's environmental protection, especially the implementation of the green growth strategy in recent years, which makes Vietnam really admires.

Korea is also a country with the technology-based agriculture. The Chairman hoped that the delegation would share those technologies with Vietnam to contribute to the development of safe and environment-friendly agriculture.
In order to successfully implement this project in Vietnam, the Chairman proposed that after the meeting, the International Cooperation Department under the Central Union would collaborate with the company to identify the tasks of each party to help Vietnamese farmers in the foreseeable future.
