Attending the opening ceremony and directing the training course were Vice Chairwomen of VNFU Mrs. Cao Xuan Thu Van. Over 100 participants from VNU provinces and cities: Da Nang, Quang Nam, Ninh Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Kom Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong attended the training course.
 
The training course of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction took place in 3 days (July 5-7). At the training course, the trainees listened to the teachers of the School of Cadres of the Vietnam Farmers' Union to disseminate topics such as: The Vietnam Farmers' Union participated in the implementation of the national target program on rural development in the period of 2021 - 2025; the role and necessary qualities of farmers in building new countryside; digital transformation in new rural construction in the period of 2021 - 2025; strengthen environmental protection and food safety in new rural construction in the period of 2021-2025; develop forms of linkage along the agricultural product value chain associated with the development of OCOP products. 

The training course helps participants improve their knowledge and share practical experiences, contributing to promoting the role of FUs at all levels in implementing the National Target Program for New Rural Development.
