VNFU Youth "returns to the roots" for voluntary activities

On the occasion of accompanying leaders of Vietnam Farmers' Union (VNFU) and the delegation of the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) in Tuyen Quang province, VNFU Youth Union coordinated with Tuyen Quang province Farmers’ Union and Standing Committee of Son Duong District Youth Union to organize a volunteer program in the revolutionary homeland of Tan Trao on the morning of December 14, 2022. It is a practical activity to welcome the 12th National Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union term 2022 - 2027.

The delegation gave 60 gifts, in which, 30 gifts were given to poor farmers in Tan Trao, Trung Yen, Binh Yen and Luong Thien communes (Son Duong district), 30 gifts to disadvantaged children of Tan Trao Primary School and Tan Trao Middle School.
Mr. Mai Bac My - Member of VNFU Standing Committee, Director of VNFU Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Department, Standing Committee Member of the Youth Union of Central Agencies, Secretary of VNFU Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union stated that although the gifts were not large, it was a heart of gratitude and hope for the small contribution of VNFU young generation in the development of the revolutionary homeland, wishing that the gifts would contribute to supporting hard-working and brave farmers, children in the revolutionary homeland of Tan Trao.
2022 is also the year to organize Youth Union Congresses at all levels, towards the 12th National Youth Union Congress term 2022-2027. VNFU Youth Union always promotes the spirit of pioneering, creatively and effectively performing tasks, richness in dreams, aspiration to dedicate, mature in capacity and practical activities.
In the past years, VNFU Youth Union has focused on promoting the educational work of the revolutionary tradition by many creative and diverse forms, associated with political events, major holidays, journeys to the roots, strengthening volunteer activities for community life, which has contributed to raise political awareness, educating the glorious traditions of the Party, the Union and the agency for young generation.
During the business trip to the historic revolutionary homeland of Tan Trao today, we, VNFU young people understand more clearly about the mission of the young generation in promoting their roles for the social community, taking care of the children…, contributing to building a stronger and stronger Union, thereby, affirming the active and growing role and position of VNFU Youth Union in the society. The Youth Union is really a close and reliable friend of the people, youth and children, an integral part of the political system," emphasized Mr. Mai Bac My.
