Leaders of the provincial FU presented Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Vietnam Farmers Digital Platform in 2024

According to the report, implementing Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW dated December 20, 2023 of the Politburo on innovation and quality improvement in the activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Union (VNFU) to meet

the requirements of revolutionary tasks in the new period, Resolution of the 8th National Congress of VNFU, term 2023-2028, the Vietnam Farmers' digital platform, a tool exclusively for VNFU members, assisting FU at all levels to deploy activities more quickly, conveniently and effectively was launched.

In order for the application to be widely deployed among all levels of FU and farmer members, in accordance with the direction of VNFU, the provincial FU Standing Committee has organized the implementation in many creative ways such as: promoting dissemination, mobilizing, guiding members to download, install and use "Vietnam Farmers app" on smartphones through meetings of the Executive Committee, branches, groups of FU, clubs, cooperatives; creating short videos instructing how to install, activate and use "Vietnam Farmers app"; establishing groups to guide, activate and install the app directly for farmer members…

As a result, the whole province has activated and installed 83.374 accounts, reaching 182% of the assigned target by December 16, 2024, of which, 4/9 districts and cities achieved over 200% of the target assigned by the provincial FU, including Cho Lach, Ba Tri, Mo Cay Bac district and Ben Tre city.

With the above results, the provincial FU becomes one of 5 provinces nationwide to receive a Certificate of Merit awarded by VNFU Standing Committee for outstanding achievements in building, deploying and developing the Vietnam Farmers' Digital Platform in 2024.

At the workshop, the delegates actively participated in discussing difficulties and problems in activating, installing and using the "Vietnam Farmers App”, proposing effective implementation solutions for the future.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Van Ban - Chairman of the provincial FU emphasized that the deployment, installation, activation and use of "Vietnam Farmers app" on smartphones not only helps farmers save time and costs but also becomes a breakthrough tool supporting farmers to get access to information, services and knowledge about the latest technology, get acquainted with the use of digital tools to manage production. The platform will optimize the production process from planting, caring, harvesting to product consumption, market monitoring and product promotion, comprehensively linking farmers - scientists - enterprises and government.

In the coming time, the Chairman of the provincial FU requested that the district and city FUs continue to promote dissemination and mobilization to guide farmer members to download, install and activate the "Vietnam Farmers app", promote the effectiveness, direct activation and installation groups, helping farmer members to understand and proficiently use the functions of the Vietnam Farmers' Digital Platform.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the provincial FU announced the Decision to award Certificates of Merit to 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Vietnam Farmers' Digital Platform in 2024.
