Ms. Bui Thi Thom, Vice Chairwoman of the VNFU's Executive Committee, spoke at the Opening Ceremony of the Training Course

Nearly 100 trainees attended the Training Course who are from 15 provinces and cities, including: Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An , Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue.


Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Thom highly appreciated the attendance of trainees in the class. The Training Course aims to systematically equip the VNFU officials with relevant content and methods for implementing the National Target Program for the period 2021–2025, helping them to acquire knowledge deeply, to have logical thinking, mind sets in order to effectively disseminate and mobilize farmers.


Vice Chairwoman Bui Thi Thom suggested: "The VNFU Staff Training School needs to continuously promote the results achieved in the previous courses in order to effectively manage this course. During the teaching process, the School should spend time suggesting and exchanging with trainees to orient them on grasping the practical situation from the commune level as well as the practical knowledge for the teaching materials, ect."


The Training Course of the National Target Program on the National Target Program on Building New-style Rural Areas took place over three days (August 29–31). During the Training Course, the VNFU Staff Training School teachers would give instruction on topics such as: The VNFU participates in implementing the National Target Program on Building New-style Rural Areas for the period of 2021–2025; The role and necessary qualities of farmers in building new-style rural areas; Digital transformation in building new-style rural areas in the period of 2021-2025; Strengthening environmental protection and food safety in building new-style rural areas in the period of 2021-2025; Developing forms of linkage along the agricultural product value chain linked with OCOP product development.


The Training Course helps trainees gain knowledge and practical experience, which helps promote the role of the FUs at all levels in implementing the National Target Program on Building New-style Rural Areas.


Until now, the VNFU Staff Training School has organized 18 training courses for about 1,900 officials of the FUs at all levels, including more than 1,800 officials of the FUs at the commune level.
