Delegates at the "Tree Planting Festival"

On February 28, 2025, at Dong Khi cultural house, Man Duc town, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province, Hoa Binh provincial Farmers' Union (FU) coordinated with Tan Lac district FU to organize the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "Tree Planting Festival"; planting "Farmer's Rows of Trees"; “Good farmers in production and business”; “Farmers participating in collective economic development in agriculture” in 2025.

Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Pham Tien Nam - Vice Chairman of VNFU; Mrs. Bui Thi Minh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Organization Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, 1^st Vice - Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Vo Ngoc Kien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Dissemination and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Dinh Cong Su - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Van Thach - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Tan Lac District Party Committee; leader representatives of relevant departments, branches, unions and officials, farmer members in Tan Lac district.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Hoa Binh provincial FU launched the emulation movement for Tet tree planting, planting "Farmer's Tree Rows"; launched the movement "Good farmers in production and business"; "Farmers participate in developing collective economy in agriculture" in 2025 to all officials and farmer members.

Mr. Bui Duc Bien, Vice-Chairman of Hoa Binh provincial FU affirmed that following Uncle Ho's words and responding to the program of planting 1 billion trees, FU at all levels have planted nearly 60 hectares of forest, more than 130 "farmer tree rows", more than 200.000 trees in 2024. In 2025, the FU continues to develop a plan to plant more than 150.000 trees.

"At present, officials, farmer members of Hoa Binh province unanimously responded to the "Tet tree planting", the program of planting 1 billion trees and planting "Farmers' trees" with 5000 acacia trees and more than 600 large trees such as black star, flower-shaped, black canarium, sưa and longan trees in Man Duc town, Tan Lac district. The movement of planting "Farmers' trees" also brings an opportunity for us to show the spirit of solidarity and mutual support in the community, each of which will be a symbol of the strength and will of farmers" emphasized the Vice- Chairman of Hoa Binh provincial FU. According to the Vice-Chairman of Hoa Binh provincial FU, FU at all levels in the province have recently made many proposals and solutions such as: Organizing vocational training courses, encouraging land accumulation, building large fields, supporting farmers in linking production and consumption of agricultural products to gradually reach the development of the collective economy. "Farmers participating in collective economic development with cooperatives as the core will play a fundamental role in linking production, product consumption, increasing income and promoting sustainable economic development. According to the Party's Resolution, collective economic development is not only a trend but also an inevitable requirement in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country. Cooperatives have been forming production models associated with value chain, creating quality products and ensuring social security”.

“The good production and business movement not only helps farmers get rich but also plays an important role in collective economic development, aiming at the goal of sustainable poverty reduction. The participation of all levels, sectors and social organizations will be the decisive factor for the stronger development of the movement in the future” informed the Vice-Chairman of Hoa Binh provincial FU.

After the launching ceremony, many delegates together with officials, farmer members participated in planting trees, planting "Farmer's Rows" with a total of 5,000 acacia trees, more than 600 black star trees, flower-shaped trees, black canarium trees, sua trees, longan trees... in Man Duc town.

On this occasion, the program organizing committee presented 10 bicycles to excellent students who are children of farmer members having overcome difficulties and awarded a loan of 500 million VND from Hoa Binh provincial Supporting Fund for Farmers to Tan Lac district FU in order to implement economic development models for farmer members in the area.
