The participants were 30 FU officials from the provincial to district levels, selected as the core force to receive, disseminate and implement training contents in the FU system at the grassroots level. Along with the contents of the professional workshop, the participants also directly experienced the practical model at the Climate Park developed by Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry and the Institute of Forestry and Sustainable Development, which integrates innovative learning methods on organic waste, ecological farming and circular agriculture.

The workshop opened a practical forum for the Provincial FU to gain deeper access to modern training programs and propose long-term cooperation orientations with training institutions including: Developing suitable specialized documents for farmers members; organizing regular training courses, inviting lecturers from Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry to support at community learning points, thereby, gradually forming a learning and practice network on agricultural climate, facilitating the FU to become an effective bridge between scientists and the people.

The special highlight of the program is the systematic coordination and clear role between the provincial FU, the Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry and the Institute of Forestry and Sustainable Development; not only attending and acquiring training knowledge but also proactively raising the issue of long-term, in-depth cooperation that is suitable for the province's rural practices. The FU's proactive proposal of integrated content into the activities of branches and groups, linking climate experience activities with the "Farmers protect the environment" movement, making climate learning materials a regular content in dissemination work... are a clear demonstration of the FU's spirit of moving with the times.

With the FU's central role in accompanying and guiding farmer members to adapt to the new era, the Provincial FU has demonstrated a proactive and responsive spirit in connecting resources from prestigious educational and research institutions in order to serve the development of farmer members throughout the province.

The Provincial FU has determined that climate change adaptation cannot be just a short-term task but a long-term strategy associated with the goal of developing ecological, green and sustainable agriculture. As a result, first of all, the FU must be at the forefront of thinking, innovating in dissemniation methods, organizing movements and connecting social resources. The workshop is a starting point for a larger and more systematic cooperation journey between the FU and academic institutions - where the vision of sustainable development with farmers at the center is shared.

Besides, it is a practical activity to gradually realize Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW dated December 20, 2023 of the Politburo on innovation and improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Union on promoting the role of the FU in protecting the rural environment, document No. 1246-CV/HNDTW dated February 25, 2025 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union on the implementation of natural resource and environmental protection and climate change response in 2025.

With a long-term vision, innovative approach and open cooperation spirit, the Provincial FU is gradually affirming its position as a pioneering socio-political organization, not only in protecting the rights of farmer members but also in creating long-term changes for a modern, climate-friendly agriculture, bringing Thai Nguyen farmers up to date with the times.
